Current Mood : Slightly whiny, for some reason.
Well, we made it through the first month of '09 already. That was fast.
Yup, aside from ‘Best Buy Friday' doll images, you get DPrincess Valentines from now through next Saturday. Today's is from the set Beloved Hubby got me yesterday. I was surprised to learn it was produced exclusively for Mal-Wart by Industries for the Blind, Inc. The pencils have seven characters, but you lose at least one princess with each sharpen. New, you get (top to bottom) Cinderella, Ariel, Snow White, Belle, Mulan, Jasmine, and Aurora, each wearing an opulent tiara that's in character. The package contains 16 cards, four each of four designs, which always seems kinda cheap to me. I like to have at least six ! But seeing as how these were $2.50 with pencils - and many just-card sets are pushing $2. these days, I guess I can't whine much.
I tried several times today to start the pink APF Barbie Learns to Cook shirtdress, but it just wasn't there, ya know ? I didn't want to force it. So instead I mostly goofed the day away. Erased the ‘slit for the pencils' lines from two of the scanned Valentines, read online, toured a few sites, cheap-serged the Kerry Beary ‘TV' fabric for the laundry pile.
Kind of a slow, quiet, boring Sunday. I've enjoyed it heartily !
