Tired, weak, sick, and Indy'ed out
Now Playing: my longing for sleep...

Current Mood - Hangin' in there, if weakly.

I should probably skip today's entry, ‘cause it's more of the same from yesterday. We got the Lego Indiana Jones game for Dearest, and he and Beloved are happily playing. It seems much harder - and more violent - than the Star Wars Lego game we've about played out.  I haven't done much of anything - and I still have to cheap-serge all that fabric I scored ! But this weather has my lungs (and breathing) so tight, it's a strain to even do that, believe it or not.

One funny thing. For the longest time, I've stored a slightly damaged Malibu PJ head on a #2 pencil. One of those odd rubbery ones, the kind that look like wood until you sharpen one. It's been in the pencil holder on my sewing machine table for months. Today, I needed it for something, and discovered that the head had melted the pencil ! No kidding - the yellow paint was sloughed off right where the neck made contact, and it went all the way to the bare rubbery ‘wood'. There's still yellow paint on the doll head. Ick. Now I know what those vintage doll/plastic meet melts must look like ! I only have one other spare head, it's from a more modern doll. Hasn't melted the bright pink drinking straw it's resting on, but I'll keep an eye on it.
